These three pix are taken of a vent or port on the front side of our mission office. The opening vents some sort of gas (probably steam) out of the furnace on the other side of the wall. The cold temperatures caused the escaping vapor to condense and drip down onto the snow below. Because the temperature was low enough it caused the liquid to freeze quickly and begin the process of building a stalagmite against against the wall. (There are so many fun and strange things to get used to here in Alaska...)
